Bukowskis presents some of the highlights at this season’s Important Spring Sale – the most exceptional auction of the season that will include works spanning all periods and genres. At the same time, Bukowskis showcase the large Asian department with Works of Art, including porcelain, ceramics, Buddhas, paintings, bronzes, and jade objects. To mark the double royal jubilee year, Bukowskis, by royal warrant of appointment, has chosen to highlight some of all the fantastic Works of Art with royal provenance in a curated special section during the auction, which will reflect royal patronage and taste.
Among the highlights of the auction are, among others, two masterpieces by the Armenian-Russian artist Ivan Constantinovich Aivazovsky, as well as a number of works by Anders Zorn, including his beautiful painting ”I sängkammaren”. The artist Carl Larsson is also represented with several of his works, including ”Vårflod/Översvämning” and ”Gumman i Maj månad”. In the jewellery category are three exquisite items by Cartier Panthére: an 18K white gold bracelet with brilliant-cut diamonds, an 18K gold ring with brilliant-cut diamonds, and a pair of 18K white gold earrings with brilliant-cut diamonds.
